That is the part we do. Beyond Cabinets by Mueller is a design business and a cabinet dealership, which means the drawings and the product come from the same desk. Custom and semi-custom production lines, plus a local cabinet shop, let us match the right product to the project instead of bending the project to fit one catalog.

The studio

At the drawing board since 1988.

Pat Mueller started in custom cabinetry in 1988, opening a small shop with Jon Mueller in a corner of a family warehouse in Tucson. Pat handled the design and the business operations, Jon handled the construction and the woodworking. Jon has since retired from cabinet making.

The business has been known as Spacemakers and as Mueller Manufacturing Inc along the way. Today it runs as a design business and cabinet dealership, teamed with another local cabinet shop alongside custom and semi-custom production lines, so each project gets the product match it deserves rather than the only one on hand.
